July 4th Cruise to Brownsville
A fun 4th at Brownsville. Get ready for the Labor Day Cruise to Port Orchard Aug 30th through Sept 1. Check with Marianne Burkhart. Great turn out for the Mad Dash, thanks to Terry for the organization.
Endurance on the way to Port Ludlow What's a Mad Dash? Join the club for a fun double or single-handed race to Port Ludlow and back. The Dash leaves Edmonds on Sat. morning June 28. Racers and cruisers are all given specific GPS time to start - slow boats first. We round the mid-channel buoy (taking midcourse time) and head off to Port Ludlow. If we all sail to our ratings, then everyone arrives at the same time. Dock space is reserved at Pt. Ludlow and we will have a club BBQ on the barge Sat. night. Next morning, we turn around race back to Edmonds. Contact Terry Davis to sign up and get slip reservations. Have you paid your 2008 club dues yet? The Seattle-based Cal 40 Argonaut will probably be the only tiller boat doing the westward migration this year. Owners Mike Scott and Liz Strash are pumped and ready.
